Dendrobates auratus “blue”

The blue variant of D. auratus, also known as auratus “calobre”. Here you see the female feeding on drosophila – listen well you will hear the male call in the background. Females of D. auratus are always less shy than males! I reckon this is because they have to feed much more for egg production.
