| Biotope | Dendrobates lamasi is a ground and tree dweller of the Peruvian rainforests. |
| Care and breeding | Day time temperature 22-24°C dropping to about 18°C at night with a humidity of 80 - 100 %. Dendrobates lamasi is one of the smaller species, but needs a high vivarium with sufficient branches and rocks, because they climb a lot. 40 x 50 x 50cm (L x D x H) is the minimum size for a couple or trio. For egg placement they need sufficient bromeliads and plastic film boxes in different levels of the vivarium. |
