Type locality A path going from El Cope to Rio Blanco del Norte, along the top of the continental separation about 1 kilometer east of the Cerro Blanco, about 8° 40´ N, 80° 36´ W, 912 m a.s.l., Provincia de Coclé, Panama.

Physical description Other colour variations of this species are yellow with black spots, green with black spots and green with black-brown spots. Everyone with a strange yellow or green Dendrobates "pumilo" from Panama, might be the owner of Dendrobates vicentei'
Distribution Panama
Biotope Mainly in trees.
Care and breeding The eggs are placed in clumps of foam like Phyllomedusa-nests. Further similar to D. pumilio.
