History
Physical description Males 15-17 mm, females 16-18 mm. The dorsum is black with three orange longitudinal lines, the median line usually extends the full length of the back. There is a bright yellow stripe extending from the labial region to the loin, extending onto the shoulder and upper thigh. The limbs are reticulated; the venter is yellow at the throat, fading to green on the chest and belly, then to blue on the hind legs with many large black spots.
Distribution Known from the Tahuayo/Yarapa area of Loreto, Peru.
Biotope D. duellmani is most frequently seen on logs or among leaf litter in humid upland forest. Frequently found climbing the trunks of large trees, presumably to enter bromeliads.
Care and breeding They can be kept at a temperature of 24-26°C.
