| Physical description | Males 15-17 mm, females 16-18 mm. The dorsum is black with three orange longitudinal lines, the median line usually extends the full length of the back. There is a bright yellow stripe extending from the labial region to the loin, extending onto the shoulder and upper thigh. The limbs are reticulated; the venter is yellow at the throat, fading to green on the chest and belly, then to blue on the hind legs with many large black spots. |

| Biotope | D. duellmani is most frequently seen on logs or among leaf litter in humid upland forest. Frequently found climbing the trunks of large trees, presumably to enter bromeliads. |
