| Physical description | 22 - 24 mm, yellow spots on a black to brown base. The finger disks are clearly split. |

| Care and breeding | The vivarium should be especially high with many bromeliads at 22-26°C. D. arboreus has a long extensive mating ceremony. The eggs are placed on leaves of the bromeliads. Expected is that the larvae are fed with non-fertilised eggs laid by the female. |
